SUMMER ACADEMICS PROGRAMS 2011:
Rates include all materials and student academic skills evaluation.

Give your student a head start on success this fall with Summer Academics.  Classes are fun, focused and geared towards fostering high academic achievement.  Morning classes are thematic and designed to give students intensive academic experiences.  Afternoon classes are small group tutoring sessions designed to target the learning needs identified for your student.  Both are beneficial in helping students to maintain skills over the summer and to augment learning while making it fun to participate in a summer course.

"My daughter had SO much fun in the Summer Academics Program this year and last year - but more than that, she really seemed to be ahead in reading and confident when she went back to school in the fall."
- Parent of 2nd grade student enrolled in Summer Academics 2010

Registration continues all summer until classes are filled – pick your plan for academic success and sign up today!

Note:  Bring a lunch and stay all day for less:  Receive a 10% discount when you enroll in both morning and afternoon academics:  9:30 a.m. to  2:30 p.m. for $180 per weekly session

Summer Afternoon Academics - Small Group Tutoring (for Grades entering 1-4 and 5-8 this fall):

Program description:

This summer academic program places students into small groups for targeted  tutoring.  Attending students will be assessed for their placement level in literacy and math.  Grade level understandings needed for success in the fall will also be evaluated. Lessons cover key skills expected of students in each grade level and additional practice in any identified areas of aptitude or deficiency. The foreign language component of the course is designed to foster continuing student interest and enthusiasm for learning a second language.  Second language learning is expected in all college preparatory programs and helps students to improve their English language mechanics, including: spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
